Delivering high-level communications workshops around the world, writing mission-critical speeches for global leaders, and advising intergovernmental organisations on public affairs strategy—it’s safe to say that 2025 was a whirlwind year.
Alongside client work, I also saw The Language of Evil released in bookshops around the world, and How to Apologise for Killing a Cat translated into Polish.
What was the biggest challenge?
One of the year’s biggest challenges was creating and delivering an internal communications workshop for a multi-billion-dollar global pharmaceutical company. With over 100 participants spread across five time zones, the task was to design and execute a session that was engaging, practical, and… dare I say it… transformative, helping teams strengthen their internal communications strategy across a complex global business.
What topics were written about?
Throughout the year, my speechwriting projects covered a wide range of topics, including:
- High-speed rail developments in the Middle East
- Europe’s developing AI ecosystem
- Wildfires in Spain
- The future of German manufacturing
- Education in India
- Trumps sweeping tariffs
- Gender-responsive just transition
To name a few…
What’s next?
My schedule is now beginning to take shape for 2026. If you’d like to discuss how I could support your organisation’s communications—whether through speechwriting, strategic advice, or workshops—feel free to get in touch!
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year
