Speechwriting

As a speechwriter I don’t tell you what to say; I simply help you find the words to share your story.

Whether it is an AGM, a conference keynote, or a press interview – what you say matters.

Having spent the past half a decade researching rhetoric and writing speeches for scientists, politicians and CEOs, I now know what works and what doesn’t.

As a speechwriter, I have written for organisations and speakers across America, Europe and Asia. My speeches have been derived in political debate chambers, corporate boardrooms and in front of the scrutiny of live cameras broadcasting to an international audience.

As well as writing speeches I also offer speaker coaching.

What was your favourite speech?

My favourite speech was one I wrote for Caltech. They had just won a Nobel prize and the speech was a celebration the university’s achievements. I had a joke in there comparing Caltech to the death Death Star, as it was the researchers at Caltech who were responsible for the demotion of Pluto!

What political work have you done?

As a non-partisan writer I have worked on speeches for politicians from the Conservative, Labour, Liberal Democrat, Green and SNP parties. I have also written speeches for the UN and offered speechwriting training for various governments across Europe and Asia.
